Common Errors and Solutions

This guide will go over some common errors users may experience within the Automation/Botting use case, as well as their various solutions / best practices.

Shape is very tricky and there are many factors involved such as proxy, device, setup, usage / runtime, and more.

Make sure you are using the recommended proxies, which can be found here. USA ISP proxies do not work for Target, and Premium ISPs and Virgin ISPs are recommended.

  • First things first, please check to see if you can ATC and checkout products manually on the target site using the ISPs with BP Proxy Switcher . You can use this product here to test. If you’re able to checkout manually, then it’s likely not a proxy issue, and the problem may lie in other areas mentioned above.
  • Secondly, make sure your device isn’t banned. You can test this by attempting to ATC and checkout on the target site without a proxy. If you are using a server, that could be the source of your issues — servers often struggle with Shape due to detectable fingerprints. In such cases, using a local device is highly recommended, as it usually results in fewer Shape blocks.
  • Lastly, keep in mind: after major restocks, Shape typically spikes in security. Seeing blocks during smaller post-restock drops is not uncommon. What matters most is performance during large initial restocks.

Troubleshooting: If you are unable to ATC manually with the ISP on Target US, it may point to a proxy issue or temporary flag. If this is the case, please open a support ticket, and our team will will be able to help and provide a replacement if needed.

Rate Limits During Monitoring

  • Rate Limits during monitoring can potentially occur based on your usage, or due to proxy errors. If you are using too low delays, not enough proxies for the amount of tasks you are using, or any kind of over-usage, it can lead to temporary rate limits on the site. To fix this issue, rest your IPs for a small period of time, raise delays, and use less concurrent tasks. If your issue is not resolved after resting your IPs and lowering usage, please open a support ticket and our team will investigate the issue.
  • Another possible reason for rate limits is if you are using the wrong proxy product on Target. You can find the recommended proxies for Target US here. Keep in mind, USA ISP proxies do not work for Target, and will likely receive Rate Limit errors.

Rate Limits During Checkout

  • This is not abnormal for Target, and even manually you can get this. This is Target’s way of limiting traffic on their site during high volume times. This is generally not a proxy error.

Incapsula Block (Error 15 and Error 17)

  • There are many factors that can cause Incapsula Blocks, many of them are not proxy related. These can include: Antibot related, tasks retrying too often, using multi-cart (which increases risk), product(s) being OOS, or overall high traffic on the site. Your device can also play a role in incapsula blocks, if you notice many incapsula blocks, it is recommended to try another device (local device will likely see less incapsula blocks than a virtual server would).
  • It is also possible for proxy to be the cause of the issue, however this is less common. Make sure to follow the guide for recommended proxies on PKC here to minimize any proxy related Incapsula blocks. You can restart your tasks that encounter Incapsula blocks to rotate the proxy if needed.

Datadome Bans

  • Datadome is a very strict antibot, and experiencing occasional datadome bans or blocks is not uncommon when dealing with a very high traffic site such as Pokemon Center.
  • Occasional Datadome bans are not abnormal and can be related to your proxy usage / bot / or other factors, however a significant amount of Datadome bans may point to a proxy issue and you can open a support ticket for further direct support / potential swap if needed. ISPs can be more prone to Datadome bans, and can easily be a direct result of overusage and potential abuse of the IP.
  • ISPs are more prone to seeing occasional Datadome bans as Pokemon Center is a strict site. Proxy abuse or overuse can lead to Datadome bans, make sure to use recommended delays and do not use multiple concurrent tasks on the same IP.
  • Make sure to follow the guide for recommended proxies on PKC here to minimize any proxy related Datadome Bans.

Re-queue

  • Re-queue is a very common and unavoidable part of accessing/running Pokemon Center.
  • Due to the configuration of the site and Incapsula, re-queues are not abnormal, and can even happen manually with no proxy.
  • Residential Proxies can be more prone to getting re-queued as is the nature with that site.
  • Make sure to follow the guide for recommended proxies on PKC here to minimize any proxy related Re-queues.

Walmart’s site can experience long queues and PX issues (a form of bot protection). Even during manual checkout, users commonly will experience long / permanent queues, and occasional issues with PX solving.

Errors with Queues

  • Long queues are normal behavior for this site.
  • Unless there is a bypass in use, the bot generally will mimic manual checkout flows, and even manually you can be stuck in long queues / perm queues.
  • Continue running a large number of tasks/accounts for the highest chance of fastest queue passing.

Errors with PX (Bot Protection)

  • PX issues are often bot-related or site-related. This sites protections are constantly changing, and this can impact PX successful solve rates within automation softwares.
  • Even manually, PX challenges can fail to pass due to Walmart’s strict detection system.
  • Let tasks continue to loop and solve, as this often resolves PX solving automatically.

Optimization Tips

  • Use a large residential proxy list with random US state selection rather than a specific state.

Make sure to follow the guide for recommended proxies on Walmart here to minimize any errors.

Queue Loops

  • Queue loops are a common occurance for this site, and even manually with no proxy you can experience them as well. Make sure to use a large proxy list, use lots of tasks, and make sure not to set “Max Queue Time” too low.

Order Cancellations

  • Order cancellations are a common occurance on this site. However, these are generally not proxy related, and are more so related to profile information.

Make sure to follow the guide for recommended proxies on Best Buy here to minimize any errors.

Rate Limits

  • Rate limits can occur on shopify due to overusage or too low delays.
  • Make sure to use recommended delays within your automation software, and keep your concurrent tasks at or below 1 task per 1 IP
  • If you experience rate limits, try resting your ISPs for a few hours, as well as increase delays / reduce tasks if needed. If the issue persists, you may reach out to Support for assistance.

Vaulting

  • Vaulting errors can occur on shopify due to overusage of profile, or overusage of proxy.
  • Shopify can give you vaulting errors if you use the same profile / payment card too many times concurrently. First things first, try new profiles with the same proxies.
  • If the issue persists even on brand new profiles, it may be a proxy related error, which can occur from overuse of proxies. Try resting your ISPs for a few hours, as well as increase delays / reduce tasks if needed. If the issue persists, you may reach out to Support for assistance.

Stuck on Preloading

  • If you are stuck on preloading, then it is possible that proxy protection is enabled. Make sure to use residential proxies instead of ISPs, as ISPs will not work if Shopify proxy protection is enabled.

It is recommended to have a high ratio of proxies:tasks. You want to have more ISPs than tasks/monitors, to allow tasks to rotate through proxy list and avoid being flagged.

Access Denied Errors

  • If facing Access Denied errors, your proxies may need a replacement or rest from usage. Please contact support.

Antibot Rotating Errors

  • This error is caused from overusage of your ISPs.
  • Increase proxy:task ratio as well as increase delays.

Akamai on Costco’s site may cause temporary IP flags or access challenges during automation. This is not abnormal behavior as Costco is a very strict site.

Errors with ISPs

  • Costco uses Akamai’s security to detect repeated or high-frequency traffic. Even clean Premium ISPs can be temporarily flagged due to this pattern. These temporary flags typically clear within 30–60 minutes.
  • Premium ISPs may work on Costco, but are more prone to temporary flags.

Errors with Residential Proxies

  • For Residential Proxies, run a large list with US random state selection.
  • For automation softwares that may be struggling with Akamai, you can try using various EU/UK locations as they often bypass stricter US-region behavior.
  • For Residential Proxies, Optimized pool is recommended for US location, and General Pool for EU/UK locations.

Make sure to follow the guide for recommended proxies on Costco here to minimize any errors.

Errors with PX (Bot Protection)

  • PX issues are often bot-related or site-related. This sites protections are constantly changing, and this can impact PX successful solve rates within automation softwares.
  • Let tasks continue to loop and solve, as this often resolves PX solving automatically.

Optimization Tips

  • Use a large residential proxy list with random US state selection rather than a specific state.

Make sure to follow the guide for recommended proxies on Sam’s Club here to minimize any errors.

Error Parsing Server

  • This means that either your device/server or proxy is blocked by Nike anti-bot.
  • To check if this is a device issue or a proxy issue, test if you can successfully login on Nike without using any proxy. If you are not able to login, and recieve the same Error Parsing Server response without a proxy selected, then it is a device issue and not a proxy issue.
  • If you are able to login to Nike manually with no proxy selected, now try to login to Nike manually with a proxy selected (Guide here). If you were able to login to Nike manually with no proxy, but are unable to login with a proxy, then this points to a potential proxy issue.

Solutions

  • If it is a device issue, try changing proxy, changing your server resolution and using Brave browser, or use a different device.
  • If it is a proxy issue, please reach out to our support and we will be able to provide assistent / offer replacements if needed.
